Many small businesses are struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To help these businesses stay in touch with their customers during this difficult time, Google is providing some advertisers with ad credits. According to the official announcement, Google will be providing $340 million in ad credits to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) worldwide. Recipients may use the credits at any point until the end of 2020. Are you eligible for these Google ad credits? How and when will you receive the credits? And what else do you need to know about this offer?
What You Need to Know About the COVID-19 Google Ad Credits
Did you know that small and medium-sized businesses represent about 90 percent of all businesses? Now that people around the world are forced to practice social distancing and stay home whenever possible, many of these modestly sized businesses are struggling to stay afloat. Some have been forced to temporarily close, and many are experiencing reduced revenue and struggling to support their employees. Google has pledged to help SMBs in several ways, including providing $340 million in ad credits.
